Mission Statement
The Opening Doors Foundation served as a 501(C)(3) non-profit affiliate of the Kevin Jones Performing Arts Studio from 2002-2013. Its philanthropic mission was to provide free, quality, theater for the people of the Roanoke Valley, while at the same time, allow young performers the opportunity to learn about the challenges and rewards of live theater (both performance and technical).
All KJPAS productions offered free admission, thus making theater accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial status.
